Friday the thirteenth maybe unlucky for some, but I was lucky to be working on an exciting shoot on Friday 13th July for champion cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. With his love of cars the BMW corporate commercial was a brilliant day for the sportsman, not to mention the beautiful Jags, amoungst other beasts he was given to drive that day!

I was there to beautify Sachin, with his already fabulous skin it was easy! For the sake of all men lets call it ‘grooming’, after all that is the official term – )

I prepped Sachin’s skin with bareMinerals serum primer, followed by MAC face and body foundation to give his complexion an extra lift. The weather was extremely wet that day, and MAC face and body is perfect for its waterproof quality.

I used Laura Mercier’s secret camouflage concealer to touch up any other areas that needed more attention. The last thing to do was sculpt his face a little, for this i used a bareMinerals powder foundation in dark tan, and buffed it along his cheekbones, forehead, nose chin, and neck.  Remember that we NEVER use blusher on a man, it’s completely unnatural… and would not be classified as ‘grooming’.

Oh! And don’t forget to comb through those brows; men’s eyebrows are generally fuller than those of women, and need general attention.

I had a fantastic day, with my own secret love for cars (whoops the secret is out)… I adored watching him race around the track in some simply stunning cars.
